facing problem with hd games

hiii friends.. recently i have purchased a sony ericsson xperia neo v.. very good phone. good display, mobile bravia engine is very good. but i am facing a problem with hd games. my phone unable to display proper graphics in games..it always displays black and white shadow in every graphic detail in hd games like assasins creed hd, spiderman total mayhem hd, brothers in arms, asphalt 6 hd and much more. please help me...what is this problem....guys, please respond if you are having same problem with sony ericsson xperia neo v...

I am also facing the same problem. System displaying Software is up to date when tried with PC Companion.

Not able to run HD games

Dear Jayasmi,

Check the apk files your using.

Each smartphone is compatibale with different versions of apk files.

Somebody needs to be made this standard. It should work like a PC games despite of different hardware there is same setup files for PC Games.

However this does not work in smartphones gaming.

i hve download assassins creed game ...n itz working i can see the starting trailer n whn ever the original game starts ..screen goes black with clear sound.. and with BIA2 game also i found same problem ...do i need to do any settings ??wats d use of gpu 205 ... plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me

Same problem with me. Seems Gameloft HD games are not compatible with NEO V. Dont know what SE guys have done with this downgraded version. On NEO international model all these games are working.:smileyangry:

And even on Gameloft site NEO V is not listed. I think its related to apk files only and in future the same will be available Hope for the best

Hugely disppointed when I see 9mm, Battlefield, BIA, Nova2, Assasin Creed not working on Neo V. Even these Gameloft guys is also restless not even bother to respond the query posted for NEO V.

^^Will you please try some other non-gameloft games? try Roboto or biofrenzy type games. Check biofrenzy specifically. Please check them and respond ASAP as I almost bought this phone but stopped after reading such comments.

Good (and wird) thing is that this site itselft doesn't show neov as an option itself. I just registered here and it neo V was not available in "select phones" catagory. So, I guess its b/c the device is quite new.

Too bad galaxy W didn't release here

at parmod, yes you are right with your statement..compatible versions..

i downloaded spider man in my arc thru apk file and same result as the above users dark screen but then saw another arc user playing the same game..

so neo v supports the game but you have to either purchase it from the android market or find the correct apk file..

also just go to market.android.com

enter you gmail account and sign in ( the same account in your phone )

then search for spider man in the market and below the pic tell me whats writen

it wil be either compatible or not compatible..try it

Don't know why woudn't SE is not taking aggressive steps to promote smartphone gaming. Like PSP. Because of their inactiveness Xperia play and other models became garbage.

I have tried all the options. Bottomline is HD games are not working on SE models specially neo v. ARC Usets can atleast can enjoy some of the games.

Funny part is all HD games are compatible with apple 3 even though it's configuration is lower than current smartphones

SE GUYS needs to be done something or there will be huge change in customer loyalty if I am not wrong its already started.

@pramod - thnx man, much appreciated and sorry for late reply was kinda busy.

So, going by other comments is it safe to asssume that only gameloft games are not working? all other HD games are working fine? The only reason I am bothering for this device is that I have no other option. Galaxy SL has quite weaker GPU and there are no other decent phone in this price range. Galaxy W seems to take forever to launch and I have to buy a decent android phone which runs HD games.

by the way there is a guy who ran benchmark test for neo V http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3V77RuJYww he was playing assassin's creed on neo V. I don't know how he manged to run it. He may be just trolling with people.

Also @promod - can I mail you regarding games? would I be bothering yo too much?

In comparision this device is much ahead than any other product (in 15 k to 18 k range ) in the market. We choose the correct product.Rest of the feature are quite good. However its frequently restarting because of Android update. That can be sorted out by visiting to Service center.

Why the hell SE is not themself start publishing the games with partnership of like EA,UBISOFT, Codemaster, EPIC etc. In PC market GAMELOFT is no where in comparision to these guys. Now they themself bahaving like king of jungle. This is only HD smartphone which doesnt supprt any HD games of Gameloft till now.

I am planning to mail Mr. Dave (Who uploaded the Video on You Tube) for Assassin Creed game. I tried thrice to installed the game but result is the same.

Now I am thinking I should have bought Apple 3GS. It is compatible with all HD games on the earth. Only problem is its 8 GB. This is the only reason i went for NEO V and now looing like a fool myself.

The question is should I buy it or not? coz if only gameloft games are not working then I may buy it. Also, I need to make this decision very quick. Did you run any other high quality games?

and I heard it has restarting issues. is it?

BTW, do you have chainfire installed on your device? If yes, then try running Samurai II: Vengence. Also, try some gameloft games with it

Following games are working fine on my NEO V. Yes I am facing that Restarting problem but I am not worried planning to visit service center tommrrow. I gave up on Gameloft. Tried hard not a single game is working apart from the following. I was more interested in Action and Soccer games thank god three football games are working. Now I can live with this device.

Right now I am finding some more information on chainfire as I read somewhere if not properly installed it may damage the phone. From there I taken back I almost downloaded the files. I want to play badly ShadowGun game with chainfire. This game specially designed for Nvidia Tegra.
