Neo WiFi (Wireless) Issue

Hi,

I just cannnot connect to my wifi network at home, i have bought my neo two weeks back, how can i solve this issue?

I've contacted the internet provider and the mobie shop thay couldnt help,

Please can you help? am really started to hate sony ericsson because of that.

Hi, is your Neo able to connect to Wi-Fi Network elsewhere?

Unfortunately no;

- Sometimes it just cannot see the network at all.

- If I got lucky it finds the network, then am promoted to ener the passkey, after I enter the passkey it dosent turn to "Connect" status, it goes to "Remembered" status.

Suggest remove your Wi-Fi Network from phone, re-scan and connect again.

It will be good if you are able to test with another Wi-Fi Network. At least the test can confirm that there is nothing wrong with your phone.

Unless you want to try .... Factory Data Reset phone to see if it is able to resolve the Wi-Fi issue.

Goto Settings>Privacy>Factory data reset. Be aware that this will erase phone data completely (SD Card not affected). Your decision ....

Two other things to try, download both Wifistatic and Blade Wifi from the Market. Restart your router then attempt to connect again.

I've just installed those apps, but nothing improved, still problem persist.

This is really hectic, most of the application i want to install from market needs WiFi for installation, like whatsapp for example.

Since you are unable to test with another Wi-Fi Network, Factory Data Reset phone as per earlier instructions. If you are still unsuccessful, you should check your router.

Having said that, I still strongly suggest that you test with another Wi-Fi Network (from friend's?) prior to Factory Data Reset. Think of the trouble you can saved.
