Experia active dead after update

Hello All,

I updated my Active last weekend over the Wifi network. As I update my phone regularly and the update told me my personal data would not be affected I assumed it was a small update.

The update went well, phone rebooted normally and everything seemed to work fine until I tried to use my phone again about a hour later. Screen wouldn't turn on, only the lights behind the touch buttons lighted up.

I tried:

- remove and reinstall battery. Phone booted normally but after 1 hour of no use the same problem came back.

- remove and reinstall battery again. Phone would not boot. Only the small vibration is felt when you press the power button but that is the only sign of life.

- use PC companion to 'repair phone'. All user data is removed and the phone is completly reinstalled. This went fine and the phone booted normally. about 1 hour later (of not using the phone) the same problem came back.

- used PC companion again to 'repair' the phone. Process went well but the phone would not boot afterwards.

Now I can do what I want but there is no sign of life in the phone anymore.

Anyone have a idea what to do next?

try to update with this..

if this does not solves the problem then you have to take it to a service centre and get it checked..
