I am not receiving any text messages on my new vivaz. I can send text messages however. No problems in receiving and making calls. Cannot be service provider problem as I have been using the same sim card for many years. Help!!

Go in to message settings, text message, service center, and see if right numbers of your operator is there and settings in that area!

zeljko, thanks for the tip. The number was correct. The handset required software reloading, after which it is ok now.

This is the closest problem to mine as it has to do with messageing. Im recieveing text messages but the phone fails to ring or notify me in any way so i have to go into my inbox to see if i have new text messages otherwise i wouldnt know. o2 keep telling me to factory reset my phone but i have had two of these phones now and really dont want to have to set up the thing again. Would really appreciate some help as o2 arent so good at the support after they have your money, thanks

Sarah, first take look in settings-personal-profile-general-personalise, than touch message signal, take what you want, and thats it if the problem is there and not in software, try !!!!
