C905 Camera continues to ask for retractable lens to be down, when lens is already down.

The phone does not seem to recognize that the camera retractable lens is down. If I put the lens down, it will sometimes work, but for the most part, it does not recognize that the lenz is down.

I had this recently, when you open the cover it still displays 'open the lens cover.'

I found that behind the slide is a very small white button that has to come out so far to make the camera 'live'.

I just use a finger nail or very thin but of plastic [pop bottle thin] to slide behind the slide and 'pop' the switch.

I've had the same issue as described above, but I am not sure where this little white button is located. Can someone give me a pretty precise description of where to look?

Sorry, been away for a few days.

Looking at the back of the phone lower the lens cover.

Taking 12 at the top of the lens at about 5 o'clock you can see the white button about 4mm below the light. You'll need to pull the lens cover out a bit to see the white button, sometimes I can get mine sorted with a fingernail or a thin card, both are considerably cheaper than a repair!
