P1i; Camera "Initializing press 0 for help" forever, cannot connect via phone mode

Hello Sir/Madam,

I suddenly have issues

1. My P1i camera hangs forever with the following message "Initializing press 0 for help". Aftter searching for possible solution, i thought let me reinstall the software.

2. However it does not get connected to pc suite, i tried all the possibles ways ( reinstalled pc suite, restarted cam and connected in various ways, updated the phone drivers, restarted the pc and phone, tried all this on another 2 computers, tried even the new replacement of PC suite), Tried to change the ports, added ports in m-router. I am sick of trying literally and run out of options. PC Suite works ok in file transfer mode.

Now i need to get rid of the camera problem and also ensure i get connected to pc suite. Is there some one who can help me please. I am looking for all possible solutions.

I suggest that you try to run a master reset of the phone. See if that could fix the problem.

Unfortunately P1i is no longer available to update, or to reinstall its software.
