Please help, After connecting My Xperia X10 phone via PC companion i get this this error "Phone software update information currently not accessible". My model is X10i. Waiting for your replies

Problem solved. Used sony ericsson update service

Yeah its awesome. My Xperia X10 is even more amazing with the 2.3.3 android update. I am just loving my X10 even more

1. Close PC Companion

2. Install java from http://www.java.com/winoffline_installer

3. Start PC Companion again and try to do the SW Update of the phone.

This should sort that out for you

you can use Update Service too

there are some networks/countries that won't release the update, if your country/network is one of them

you can manualy update your phone

Thank u so much to both of u! I installed the java update, but that didnt affect my pc companion (it still showed me same msg). I used update service after all and it worked. U guyz r the best! Made my day :smileygrin:

i have same problem after update my Xperia arc .42 to .62, java and update service still can solve my problem

can someone help me??! and 1 thing to let u know my phone is missing Application Install app.

and some app is install like Data Monitor and Guide after i update my phone.

i installed update services but while it is checking for update my idm picks two files as staticdata.ser and productssynch_Mv so on. I extracted these files but i dnt knw wat to do.,,these files cannot be instaled ..wat to do please tell

I have a Xperia S LT26i and even after installing java from the link posted, I still experience the "phone software update information currently not accessible" error. And the PC companion reads the phone as LT26. Why is it so and what is the difference between LT26i and LT26 ? And in worst case, how long should I wait for the new software update after other Xperia S users got it ?

Yes, I tried SUS. It says that the phone is up to date. But what possibly could be wrong with PC companion? Why does PC companion say "phone software update information currently not accessible" ?

maybe some glitch with the software or maybe pcc has access to different servers

Guys,

I am having the same problem. When ever I connect my phone to my laptop and try to install the pc companion a get an error "This software cannot be installed. Please try again later". Then I dowloade it from sony's site and installed it. Now when ever I connect my phone to the laptop I get a message saying "Phone software update information currently not accessible" and I am not able to use any of the features given in PCC as I get the same error message "This software cannot be installed. Please try again later". I have already updated my phone's software but I want to use other features given in PCC. I was able to install PCC in my friends laptop though. Please help me out here how do I install PCC in my laptop.
