Two problems - Wifi Mode and MTP connection

Hi there, I have two problems on my Xperia Arc.

The first one is about Wifi. My router is TP-Link WR941ND, which supports mixed 802.11b,g,n mode. All my other devices can connect and access the Internet with this Wifi setting. However, my Xperia Arc can connect to the LAN but has no Internet Access when the mixed bgn is set in my router. Therefore my router can only operate in 802.11g-only mode, because my Xperia Arc can only access the Internet with this Wifi setting. Xperia Arc is a 2011 product, why can't it support mixed bgn mode?

The second one is about the MTP connection to computer via USB cable. My computer is running Windows 7 x64. During the first two months of my Xperia Arc, I can connect the phone to the computer via MTP connection, there were no flaws at all. However, after my Xperia Arc has been upgraded to Android 2.3.3, the MTP connection started to fail. My computer said "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". I have tried to re-install the driver for Xperia Arc, PC Companion, and even Windows, nothing helped. When I have removed the driver for Xperia Arc, the computer recognized it as "MTP USB Device", Windows is still telling "This device cannot start. (Code 10)", but neither Windows nor PC Companion can fix it. However, PC Companion can recognize the phone when I connect the phone by Mass Storage Mode and I can mount the SD card in Windows. But this implies that the SD card is unmounted in the phone and I cannot use the SD card when I connect the phone to PC, this is very annoying.

Can someone kindly help? Will flashing the ROM help? But the computer can't even recognize the phone...

As I understand Xperia arc supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n. So it should be able to get Internet access using mixed mode on your router. I know it might not be possible for you test, but do you know if you get the same problem using another router that has mixed mode option?

We're monitoring this closely and I have forwarded some feedback on this to concerned team. But there seems to be some workarounds at the moment.

I had the same problem

All was workin than stop for no reason

In msc mode i connect normaly, but in MTP I cant connect tryied to reinstall the driver and the pc companion, but Always get an exclamation in the driver,

Dispositivo USB MTP "Este dispositivo não pode ser iniciado. (Código 10)"

I have windows 7 x64

Hi Johan-SEAnswers you guys on the SE must know by now that there is something wrong with Wifi on the Arc S., instead of starting to talk about to try with other routers, why do you not say that YES, we know there is a problem and we will arrange for an update. there is post here with several hundred thousand readers so it's not just a few phones. SO WHEN WILL WE SEE AN UPDATE ???!!!
