A fatal damage to my Z ultra via a magnetic charging port

I apparently killed by Z Ultra by plugging a cheap aftermarket magnetic charger in the wrong direction. At this point I feel like I tried everything...pressing and holding the shutdown button for 10 seconds or more, pressing the power button with and without shutdown button in several different ways for several seconds, and so forth. The phone seems to be just dead. The only way it reacts is that when I plug it to a wall outlet via USB cable (ouput: 5V2A), the charging light turn on orange. But the phone gets quite hot fairly quickly. The light does not turn on when I plug it to a USB port of one of my computers (an Intel NUC).

I don't think there is anything I can do, but has anyone seen something similar to this? I'll probably wind up taking the phone to a Sony Service Center this weekend.
