topic Restarting in XPERIA archive

I've had my Z2 a couple of months. Today it turned itself off and now is stuck in launching, trying to start (purple Sony screen) turning itself off again before repeating this. I've managed to shut down by holding the volume up/off buttons together but when i turn it on the above just starts again.

Anyone have any ideas on what could be happening here?

Hi les459,

Welcome to the community,

I am sorry to hear about this issue. If the instructions supplied above do not work, then I can only advise that you attempt a software repair with Xperia Companion as it seems there may be an issue with the boot and is in some cases software orientated.
