Sony just try to charge me £240. for rear panel replacement as they offered full swap option only.

I'm very sorry to hear about your phone

I see that you have also been in contact with your local support about this. The cause for this is that your phone has previously been opened/repaired by a 3:rd party that's not authorized for repairs. I'm afraid this voids the warranty of the phone and as the service centre needs to restore the warranty and guarantee the functionality and safety of the phone after repairs, a full replacement is the only offer they can make in this case.

There is just rear panel removed because it's been broken. No any attempt for repair has been made. I just want replace that not interested in any kind of warranty or guarantee.
Just put the panel there and send me my phone back.

I'm afraid i'm not able to assist you from my location as this is a global forum and warranty/repairs are handled at a local level by your Local support.

I recommend that you contact your local support again to see what options you have but as i understand your case, they will not be able to repair your phone in this case.

They lied me twice so far. Firstly they told me that is it beyond economical repair and secondly they claim that third party repair has been made.

I'm really sorry to hear that you feel you have received wrong information and i recommend that you contact your Local support again in that case.

But if you open the phone yourself and try to repair it, that it considered a 3:rd party repair. You wrote yourself that you've done this in the chat you had with your local support yesterday.

I see your local support has also sent you an explanation for why it was stated to be beyond economical repairs and pictures of your phone showing unauthorized attempt at repairs. I hope that explains everything. If not, please keep in contact with them as all i can see from my location is the conversation you have with them so i really can't provide you with any new information.
