Lock Screen Particle Effect/Animation missing

Someone posted about the lock screen particle effect going missing on the Lollipop update a while back; I noticed that at the time and sorted it out after following the instructions. I've just updated to Marshmallow and it's gone again but this time the instructions don't seem to help. Also the colours of the Xperia default theme (the one that cycles through different colours...) are a bit unpleasant. Does anyone know if it's possible to get back to the previous colours with that particle animation thing on the lock screen when you swipe it?

Just checked a Z2, Z5 and Z5c, the effect seems to be gone even with the default xperia theme.

Yes, I believe only the first 2 livewallpapers versions of the theme had the particle unlock animation,
