Quick charge - Z5P & UCH10

As far as I know, the Z5P supports Quick Charge 2.0. However, while my Z4 tablet goes into 'quick charge' mode with the UCH10 charger, my Z5P seems to charge regularly.

The Z4 Tablet displays 'charging quickly' when connected to a QC2.0 adapter. However, the Z5P displays 'charging'. Does the Z5P require a special cable for QC?

I've tried both a UCH10 adapter and a QC 3.0 certified charging station.

Z5p is more sensitive to the temperature than the tablet when charging.
My Z5p sometimes charges really quick if it's colder but generally charges within 1hr30-45 minutes.
Z4 tablet definitely stays colder and thus charges at the quicker rate more often.

Hi @silencer51,

You are correct, the Xperia Z5 Premium does support Quick Charge 2.0. As long as you use the cable that comes with the UCH10 charger then your phone will charge faster than if you where using a regular charger.

Is your device charging faster using then UCH10 compared to a "regular" charger?

I'll also see if I can get some confirmation on what message that should be displayed while charging using Quick Charger.
