I have a problem with the Bluetooth. I can make one phone call through Bluetooth without a problem but then any subsequent calls aren't audible through the Bluetooth in the car even though the phone is still paired. For subsequent calls, I have to touch the Audio Output button on the phone during the call and select Speaker or Headset to hear the conversation. Videos (and I presume music) will play through Bluetooth without any problem, both when the phone call works the first time or when the phone audio isn't working. I had the Sony Z5 in the same car previously and had no problem at all. Having been a software tester in the IT industry, I've gone through numerous steps and procedures to see if I can fix the problem but no luck. I thought maybe an app or a setting I disabled might of caused the problem so I did a factory reset on the phone and only signed into my Google account (without installing anything else) but still had the problem. This is a big problem for me as I do a lot of driving for my work and need this working. Can anyone help?

Tried in Safe Mode and same problem.

I made one call to my messagebank and it worked ok through the car Bluetooth. I then ended the call, rang my messagebank straight back and no audio through Bluetooth on the car audio. I pressed on the dial pad during the call, the Audio Output and selected Speaker and I could hear the call through the phone speaker. I pressed Bluetooth in the same menu and nothing.

I didn't think safe mode would work cause as I posted originally, I did a factory reset and still had the problem. I did no updates and no app installations (except for signing into Google) and had the same problem.

Perhaps if you check the car stereo compatibility

What exactly do you mean by "check the car stereo compatibility"

My Z5 phone worked without any problem in the same car.
