So I have the Xperia Z2 (D6502). Updated to firmware 23.5.a.1.291

I have however disabled charging optimisation due to realising my phone charges faster without it along with it holds the charge longer with optimisation.

Anyway I've started facing a random issue since about a month now.

SD Card is the Strontium Nitro class 10 sd card.

If I leave charging optimisation on I do not see this issue, so here goes.

Disabling charging optimisation loads a folder on your sd card called Android secure.

(You cannot delete this folder from the phone you just need a computer and the sd card needs to be put into an SD adapter).

If you delete this folder you can then reinstall all your apps and games and have them working with all the previous data.

However after about a week or maybe even a restart of your device you'll loose access to your apps that are stored on the SD card.

Formatting the card using EX fat doesn't help neither does any Fat format.

Creating a dummy android secure folder doesn't help.

Changing your theme doesn't help.

Clearing your phone cache, xperia home and simple home doesn't help.

Restarting the phone in safe mode and turning the phone back doesn't help.

Reinstalling the entire software of your phone using a PC doesn't help.

Clearing battery optimisation data and cache doesn't help neither does force closing this or the memory storage help.

Resetting your phone to factory doesn't help.

I can't quite think of any other resolution's i've tried but as you'll respond I can help you understand whether i've tried it or not.

The only sort of resolution is : Delete the android.secure folder.

Reinstall all your apps and they function perfectly as long as you don't restart your phone.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

FYI complete resolution that I've figured : Leave the charging optimisation on but screw up your battery for it lasts less when playing heavy games like Star wars : Galaxy of heroes and Real Racing 3

Well I hope you have a resolution for I seem to think this is a massive bug with the Sony Xperia Z2.
