Bluetooth not working

Bluetooth not able to detect surrounding device.
Is it a hardware problem or setting not done properly?

Are other devices able to find yours? Sometimes you also need to put different bluetooth devices in pairing mode in order to be seen.

Hi @Vincejb,

Is this something that started happening recently? As @alexdon mentioned, are other devices able to find your phone and does this other accessory need to be in pairing mode? Note that for your phone to be visible for other devices you will need to be in the Bluetooth menu in your phone (Settings > Bluetooth).

This device that you are trying to connect your phone to, have you been able to connect to this accessory previously? Is there any change if you reboot your phone?

If the above doesn't help with connecting your phone to your accessory, is there any change if you reboot your phone to safe mode?
