After the latest software update, the loudspeaker turns off often and even when the volume s increased, nothing could b heard until the phone s restarted

I'm really sorry to hear about your phone.

Just to make sure, you are not referring to the notification regarding you listening to music on high volume for a longer period ?

Have you noticed any pattern as to when and how often this happens? For example, after using a specific app of function for a while. How often would you say that you experience this happening? If it happens quite often, could you check if the the same thing occurs with your phone rebooted to safe mode?

If this happens again, have you tried to increase the volume in the phone's settings? If not, you can do this under Settings > Sound > Media volume. I would also recommend that you test the Speaker in Diagnistics before rebooting your phone, this test is found under Settings > About phone > Diagnostics > Test > Speaker. Are you able to hear the sound here?

Sir, sometimes after keeping the phone in silent mode and then increasing the media volume and notification volume doesn't gives any volume output even though the volume seems to b full in the settings.. There s no particular app.. It just occurs after keeping the phone in silent mode and the volume output s zero until the phone s restarted.. And I've also checked the phone diagnostics amd both the loudspeaker and earpiece test failed. The customer care representative hav asked me to do the software repair and that's also failed due to some technical error. I would redo it again and would let u know whether the problem has been solved. Thank u..

Thanks for the update, @Ezioezhil.

Considering that your phone failed the tests for both of the speakers it's not impossible that this is related to hardware rather than software. I would suggest that you perform the software repair as you were recommended.

After you have done the repair, please try the speakers before restoring any backup or reinstalling any apps in your phone.

If a software repair doesn't help my next suggestion would be to have your device sent in to be examined by an authorized service centre, for information on how to proceed with sending in your device I'd refer to your Local support team as they will have more information on local service procedures in your area.

Sure sir but if it's hardware, then the sound would be temporarily off.. I guess.. But other than the test, the sound s audible now. I would let u know after the repair. Thanks for the follow up.. Sir..
