And in settings, tree dots, wifi settings, keep wifi on during sleep set to NEVER. Also turn OFF network notification on same place (for open networks).

Hi folks,

I noticed a battery drainage since the MM update.
The Battery statistics shows wifi as highest consumer with 68% and display only about 10%.

I already set the wifi connection to be "off" during standby, but it seems to be always active.
The drainage is gone when the device is in flight mode during the night.

Any idea how to change this without manually switching wifi on/off all day?

Thx, Andi

Problem is with Google Play Services, to avoid draining of battery in settings-location choose option "device only". WiFi scanning should be OFF (tree dots on right upper corner). This is a bug from Marshmallow - there is plenty of post's about draining of battery after update to Android 6.
