Button used to rotate camera is missing

Hi , i bought my sony xperia m4 couple of months ago , after few weeks of using it , i tried once to take a selfie but there isn't the button where you switch the camera direction toward you anymore , actually it dissappeard from the screen , just like that. it was working fine the first days though. i tried everything to restore it back , i've checked all the settings in camera and nothing resolved the issue so i did the factory reset with hope that everything will return normal. the factory reset was successsful except that the camera issue is still not resolved. can anyone help me with this please?

if it doesn't, repair the phone with XC
