hard? bricked xperia Z1

My phone is stuck on a bootloop after the sony logo, and if i try to use the Companion app to repair it i get the error uegetphoneinfomissinginfo when i plug it in holding the volume down key. My phone's bootloader is locked and cannot be unlocked, so fastboot mode is not useful i belive.

Any advice would be apreciated

What if you charge the phone > turn it off > run XC > follow the steps but make sure to keep the phone off

Thanks for the quick reply, i do turn it off when i attempt to repair it. I did a repair earlier today and everything went smoothly, but after i got stuck in a bootloop again i ran into the uegetphoneinfomissinginfo error.
