&lt;P&gt;When did this start happening? Was it after something happened to the phone?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Have you tried several headsets to see if the same thing happens then? I suggest that you start by going to Settings &amp;gt; Apps &amp;gt; ... &amp;gt; Show system &amp;gt; Smart Connect &amp;gt; Storage and press Clear data. Then restart your phone and connect your headset.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If the above didn't help try rebooting your device to&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/safe+mode/pd-p/safe_mode" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="187-1"&gt;safe mode&lt;/A&gt;. Should that not help I recommend that you perform a&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/software+repair+using+Xperia+Companion/pd-p/software_repair_2" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="190-1"&gt;software repair using Xperia Companion&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
