Deleting Contacts Stored on Sim Card

Why isn't it possible unless you download a sim card manager to manually delete a contact that you happened to have stored on the phones sim card?

Simple, Android doesn't support this.

The Sim Card manager I used was from Google play store and it helped me delete the contact stored solely on the sim, I'll make sure I don't store it there in future.

I wonder if I should just delete the sim card manager, have you heard of them being used before?

To be honest I haven't stored contacts nor texts in a SIM card in ages.
