Front camera quality problem

Hello i have just recently bought this phone.The images captured from front camera really looks blurry and its not sharp and clear.The quality is by no means close to good.I think there should be a problem with front camera because with rear camera i have no such issues.Do you think should i contact where i bought this phone?

lets try some troubleshooting first..

try to clean the camera lens using a lint free cloth (usually the one that comes with eye/sun glasses)

make sure there is no scratches, or if you are using a screen protector that it doesnt cover the lens

try to see to your camera settings, is the resolution set to max 13mp? are you using automode or manual?

restart your device

go to settings>apps>camera>clear data ( to reset the camera app)

if those doesnt help, maybe you can compare with another Xperia m5 at your local service center/showroom before sending it back

My shots with fron cam are perfect. No problem with them

I have tried what you have said it seems to have helped but i think i should compare it with another phone to be sure about the quality
