Bluetooth in Subaru

I can't haveboth phone and music at the same time in my subaru. Anyone knows why?

elaborate, are you trying to play music while on a phone call?

No, the Bluetooth is only connecting to either the phone or the audio system. I have to pair the Sony either for the phone or for the audio playback.

Does your vehicle have 2 seperate bluetooth connections? I.E one for the stereo and one for phone?

Yes, and when paired the informstion in the phone's Bluetooth settings for the connection says it is either for phone or audio system.

@Jens_jamtland,

Your Xperia device can only be connected to one bluetooth profile at a time. If your car is set up with two seperate bluetooth connections for phone and audio, your phone will only be able to connect to one of those at a time.

At the same time my former phone (iPhone which I don't like for many other reasons) could handle it.

What did you do to fix it? Did it not have seperate bluetooth profiles for Audio and Phone?
