Do you have the feature enabled?

Settings > language & input > Google voice typing

Try to enable "talkback" app.

Hi @Alanjustinjones,

Welcome to the community,

I am more than happy to show you how this is done. I can only assume that you are using the Swift keyboard that comes default with the handset, that being said, you will need to access the settings to make sure it is available on the keyboard. Do the following.

Apps > Settings > Langauge & Input > Tap on Swift keyboard > Tap Typing > Tap Voice & other Input > Turn on Voice Input

Now try sending a message, you will see a little microphone icon beside the comma, simply tap and hold on it to action Voice.
