hey guys my xperia z2 system crashed 3 times the in 2 months the first 2 times i repaired it with pc companion but this 3rd time when i press the volume down key and connect its not connecting it flashes the green light but to no avail system is 5.1.1 original i havent modified it in any way i also tried flashtool (using an official rom) but it also didnt work help pleeeeeeeeeeeas thanks in advance

Make sure to charge the phone for an hour or so and use XC

Hi @heisenberg98,

Welcome to the community.

I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your Z2. I think the problem is that PC Companion is no longer supported. So, please do follow the steps that @uliwooly provided, it should help.

I recommend you remove PC Companion and move on to Xperia Companion.

thanks for the quick reply
so i went ahead and dowloaded XC went to get phone it was pretty much dead it was more than 1 month since i last checked it
when i press the power button it vibrates weakly but the screen didnt work
so i hooked it up to the charger and immidietly the led notfication light started blinking red so i dead some research i have found out its because the battery is completly discharged so i let it charg for 3 hours i came back to check no led at all even the magnatic cable didnt charge it at all and when i press the power nothing happens i left and went t sleep
and today i came back after i read ur reply i hooked it on the charger the red light turned on and stayed on for a minute or so then it was gone again!!
still power button does nothing i even tried the magnatic cable again still nothing
i connected to my laptop it gave a sound the laptop i mean and voila the red light is back
a minute later it disconneted and the light went off i cant get it to connect again

I am sorry to hear that. If the software repair is not helping, the best thing to do would be to contact your Local support team and arrange a repair.

i live in iraq baghdad no local sony support
i guess ill have to get the xz
