Z3 keeps rebooting

Hey! my z3 did suddenly got issues , it started to turn off suddenly and then on again when it had 70 % battery precent, it suddenly went to 0 and back . The rebooting issues where there but it would still go back to normal , i did suddenly loose it on the carpet, after that does it not respond , it only respond when i connect the charger to and then does it just keep rebooting to the sony screen,off back to sony screen.

I think the battery may be defect since it only respond when it`s connected to the charger, though it just keeps rebooting when it first respond, i have taken out the sd and sim card but that have not helped. It`s updated to the latest version.

I am sorry you're having issues with your Z3

Can you please test your phone in safe mode and see if the same issue happens?

Well i am unable to get into the phone since it just keep rebooting,but i tried to press down both on/off button and Volum down to boot into safety mode, i could just hear that the phone was starting over and over again but nothing else happend,

I see. You might have to try a software repair using Xperia Companion on your phone.

It have to be 60 % battery precent first right, the phone is charging now , so i will try that again so fast it hit green light,correct me if i am wrong.

We recommend your battery be at 80% for the software repair, but please do let me know what happens.

The phone have been connected to the charge for several hours now , at a point was it the charging light that indicate that the battery precent is over 30 % ish but now is it back to blinking red lights, and the screen that just keeps showing the sony welcome screen, i tried to boot into the safety mode and could hear that something was happening but it did still keep rebooting to the welcome screen, can it be something wrong with the battery , becouse when the charger is off is the phone just black , it does not respond but when i take the charger one , does it start rebooting to the welcome screen , but does not go further ? It`s difficult to use sony companion program when it`s less then 80 % according to the red blinking color.

If you're not having any luck with Xperia Companion, I recommend you contact your Local support team to arrange a repair.

hi did you get a repair? how much did they charge, the same thing has happened to me and it seems lie a huge scam to get ppl to send phones off for repair to them so they can make money on faulty equipmnet!!
