Z3 compact m - sms issues

Since the update I've been having issues with sms. I'll type a reply and get an error saying cannot send, blank message. So I copy the text, close and reopen messenger and send fine.

I'm also having a problem where messages don't come through until I unlock my phone, my battery can be in the 90% range, so don't understand what's going on, everyone thinks I'm ignoring them!

Anyone else had this? Know what's going on? I'm using the stock messages app, and also the battery saver thing (that used to actually work before, but hey, that's another thread!) Help please!

While using battery saver, connectivity is set to minimal when phone screen in off. Try to turn off the battery saver and see if your messages arrive in time.

Thanks, I'll give it a go... What a great feature, having a phone that doesn't do what it's supposed to do!

Update, just checked and battery saver isn't actually on... Any suggestions?
