Camera saving pictures incorrectly

when i take a pic in landscape mode then the image is saved in portrait mode

and when i take the pic in portrait mode it gets saved in landscape mode

why so?

and how to do i change it to taking pic in landscape getting saved in landscape

this is really weird

does this happen when you are in safe mode?

first run some test in diagnostics, the gyrocope, accelerometer and the camera,

do they work well? try to clear camera app data

settings>apps>camera>clear data

restart your device

the tests were good

not in safe mode

did other steps as well

still the same
