Sony Z5 Premium Repair

I recently dropped my Z5P and was heartbroken since I love the phone so much. I thought it was going to be easy to get it repaired though so I did not worry at the time. However I was soo wrong. The main problem that I am running into is that I have the international version and when I call Sony support for US they say they do not repair international phones and to call Taiwan where the phone is made. I emailed Taiwan support with my problem and they say they don't accept out of country repairs. I call back US Sony support and they said that it is impossible to get my phone fixed in the US. Now I am stuck with a broken phone that I can not get fixed even if I want to pay to get it fixed. So I am just wondering if anyone out there knows what I can to do to get my phone fixed or something because at this point I have no clue what to do.

Hi @nwclayton,

Welcome to the community.

This is a bit of a tricky situation you are in. Did you purchase the phone in Taiwan or did you purchase it from a retailer/importer?

If it's the latter, I recommend you contact the retailer and see if they can arrange the repair for you.
