Hi everyone. I'm Paul from Derbyshire England. I've recently bought a Sony Xperia XA and found that the Audio output for the music player is totally rubbish. The sound is so quiet there may as well be no speaker. My old z2 audio output was amazing but the XA is very poor for quality of sound! Is there any way of making the sound louder on my xperia xa as I love to listen to music but this is making it impossible as I don't want to constantly wear headphones in the house. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can download a sound booster. I use SpeakerBoost. Just take care with boost percentage!

I did this yesterday and still no difference. Just makes the ring tone louder but does nothing for the music player volume. Thank you though.

It will help if you turn off dynamic normalizer in audio settings.
