Oh My God! I need to escalate it. Sony Service is just terrible, so the plan is to ask customer to send the device for Free. Once the device is received by Sony, they will just sit on it and you need to give a Ransom to get device returned without anyone has even looked at it. This is pathetic. I have totally lost any hope with Sony now.

Its only 3 months and device give problem and its horrible to get it fixed. Lowest level of service I have ever received from even from unbranded products. Pathetic Pathetic Pathetic.

In order for the handset to be repaired the quotation would need to be paid (Which even after 2 weeks of keeping the device they can provide) or you can have the handset returned unrepaired at a cost of £21.80.

Does anyone know the escalation path?

Advise: Never Buy anything from SONY

They do tell you if it's not covered by warranty then you have to pay a holding / return fee, although I do agree they have a very low standard regarding repairs

How to buy a Genuine Glass Battery cover for Xperia Z5

Sony Support advise that for Back cover replacement I shall send the device to them for Free :). I have been through this they will get the device and sit on it for weeks and give a quote of around £60+ for replacement or get it back by paying postage and handling which is £21. So Sony will ask for kind of ransom to get my phone back.

They decieve by saying it might be covered under warranty which is wrong. Broken back cover will not be cover in any Warranty. Only way is I will replace it myself which is very very easy.

The challenge I have is to Find from where I can buy a genuine Battery cover. There are some inferior back covers on ebay, amazon and aliexpress. Sony's partner EET Europarts Ltd doesn't have it and its kinda difficult to get one piece from a wholesale seller.

Can someone advise how I can get a Genuine Back cover? and I don't care about Sony Warranty for me its mirage and I don't want to deal with Sony customer support which wastes more time than helping in anyway.
