@alexdon I am just with the C5 in this moment and my C5 it does not vibrate, at all unless I put it in mute... Secret is to go in settings, tapping the magnifying glass and typing just vib to get what you see in the screenshot below. Follow each link and disable vibration in each setting page and enjoy a steady vibration free phone.

As soon as I'll get my hands to my Z3c with MM I'll try to do the same with it and post my findings here.

Welcome to the community.

There's not really a way to globally disable vibration alone, but if you are on 6.0.1 you can enable Stamina mode, which will disable vibration on your phone.

As I am not home in this moment, and I don't have with me the Z3c which is with marshmallow, I know that you can disable vibration by going into Settings, Sound and then select Vibration Intensity. There you should be able to disable selectively vibrations.

As soon as I will be home I'll take the Z3c and ver if what I am saying in the meantime CameronT just gave you a possible solution

You can either have only vibrations or dnd or customize apps if you don't want them to send out notifications.

Yes, still not easy to switch and do this all the time, is it @YoGem? I'm talking about a sound scheme that does this right away.

Alexdon on that you are 101% right. A button that enable and disable vibration will be ways much better than doing all that mess.

That's seriously all I want. I've never had a phone that doesn't give you that option before. I don't want to use the power save mode as I don't want to disable my apps so it looks like it will be on silent for the majority of the time.

Thanks everyone for your help but until Sony bring out an update that allows you the choice to turn off vibrations regardless of sound, it looks like I won't be hearing my phone go off

You can disable vibration for calls only under Settings > Sound & Notification > Also vibrate for calls. The problem is that each app has its own vibration settings so you have to adjust them each individually.
