Phone calls end immediately

Just happened this morning.
When I tried to call people on my contact list, the keeps being ended immediately. No ringingbl whatsoever.
Would appreciate the help.

Hi Jake,

Already tried restarting my phone.
Don't wanna tinker on the settings, not sure what might happen.
Although I could still call using apps like messenger and whatsapp.

Can you try clearing the Phone app data.

Menu > Settings > Apps > Phone > Clear Data

However it may be a good idea to backup your data using Xperia Companion just in case.

Is it possible for you to test another SIM card in the device, as it may be possible that the SIM is no longer function as it should.

Hi, I couldn't use a different sim on my phone, there was a problem connecting to a different network. I did however test my sim on another phone and I could call without any problems.

This is really unfortunate, based on the information you have given me I can only really suggest a Software repair at this stage. Please see the instructions below on how to Backup and then a Software repair.

Hi Jake, problem solved!
The network preference was ticked to lte only. I ticked the lte(preffered)/WCDMA/GSM.
Maybe I accidentally tinkered with it back then
