I've just replaced the lcd and screen on my z3 compact and the phone is not switching on. The battery was flat when I did the replacement and when I plug the charger in the red led comes on followed by the flat battery symbol on the screen, that stays on for about 3 seconds then the symbol and the led light both go out then the led light and symbol come back on and then go out and so on. Does any one know of any way of fixing this maybe with pc companion? Many thanks

PCC no longer works, you have to use XC.

Even if you use XC it won't work since there's no charge on the phone/battery.

If you took the phone to your Local support contact them, if you took it to a third party repair center, take it back; if YOU repaired the phone, perhaps there's a loose connector.

Thanks for the reply it turns out the battery connection had come loose. Clipped it back in and it's all fine now. Just got to find some decent glue to keep the screen held down!!
