Device reset in my pocket, how do I avoid it?

If someone is calling to me and I don't head it, then at least 3 times the phone let opened snaplock in the pocket and it did full restart. All my files are gone. How do avoid it?

Hi @linnaiff,

Are you using an Exchange ActiveSync account by any chance, or any similar service? There may be a policy from the Exchange server which forces the device to reset if the screen lock code is entered incorrectly a number of times. Such services are popular among businesses for example.

The display will illuminate from incoming calls, which in turn may have led to the device reacting to your leg in your pocket.

Edit: Just a thought, did you check so that you didn't simply switch users, for example to a Guest account? Swipe the notification bar down, and choose the user icon in the top right. Is it set to your main user?

Yes. I use Exchange server. My question is why it must to do full restart if it react for my leg? Can it go just lock if I on my leg puts password 3 times incorrect.

I advice you to contact the provider of the Exchange server to see if they can exclude the policy to wipe the device. You can't edit that directly in your device, since it is on the server side of the Exchange ActiveSync account that you have added in your device

Oh, I understand. There is also no way to disable it for your device natively aside from removing the account I'm afraid.
