Hi @Import,

In this situation I would advise to fully charge the unit to 100%. Once the unit is fully charged use the unit as normal till it reaches around 5-10%.

Once it reaches this amount I would advise to check in Settings > Battery > Show Battery usage, take screenshots of this page and post them here.

This will give us an accurate idea of what part of the phone is using what amount of battery. Once we have this information we can then identify the best course of action or troubleshooting.

Battery life is not great but nowhere near bad. It's very similar to the iPhone 6s I had. However, if you use it it definitely will use some major battery time I've found. Like now I've been on a few forums for the past hour plus and I've noticed pretty fast drainage now. Basically it's just an average output battery. Nothing special as advertised but it's not terrible either. My Moto Z Force on the other hand simply is amazing. The battery goes forever and the quick charge on it is much faster than the X quick charge. The X just has nothing more than a middle of the road battery. Still the phone or the X model is quite a good device as I had the XA first and it it's double the superior factor of the XA.

I have shocking battery drain on the xperia x

I have had the phone about 4 weeks and it will drain 30-40% in 6 hours when I havent used the phone.

is this normal battery life?

checking the battery life in settings, it appears to be the system which is largely draining the battery, it is also in Stamina mode.

The only problem i thought it might be is that 4g is quite weak where I work and it seems to come and go, I wondered if this was a contributing factor.

any suggestions would be appreciated

thank you 🙂
