Keyboard goes dim

My keyboard occasionally goes dim but is still usable for typing. However I am unable to tap the recommended words. Ive tries clearing the app data. Only restarting seems to fix it temporarily.

Probably a third party app, boot on >>> safe mode and check if you experience the same problem.

Hi @Micmactoe,

Welcome to the community.

Please try uliwoolys suggestion, but can you also go to Settings > Apps > All > Xperia Keyboard > Clear Data > Force Stop to reset the keyboard app.

Just to confirm, are you using the default keyboard?
