Camera audio recording quality need improvement

This has been an issue for me since as early as when I had xperia ray and sp. I have been unsatisfied with the audio quality of recorded videos with them sounding a little washed out and distorted. I expected an improvement with the flagship z series but I found it to be mostly the same leading me to think it was the current best available tech for phones that sony is putting in for us. That was until recently I recorded a video side by side using the Z3c and htc m8, unexpected I found audio in m8 recorded videos to have what I was missing on the sony. It had the crispness clarity and depth, natural real sounding audio that I was expecting on the Z3c. Sadly rest of the camera and video of m8 is imferior to z3's. Hoping this is just a small fixable software low audio bit rate like issue, request sony look into this and fix it in the upcoming 6.0 update.
