WiFi problem on Z5

I've been having real issues with my Z5 connecting to WiFi, mainly at work. It seems that everyone else can connect to it fine with their devices but I just get the ! next to the signal meter. I have turned the phone on and off, done the same with the router, cleaned the sim, but I can't get it to work. It has also now started to mess about on my home WiFi, not connecting all the time, having to restart the phone so it worls for 5 minutes then goes off again. Ive had the phone for just over 3 months and the problem has slowly got worse over time, I've spoken to Sony online chat about a repair but they said I have to go back to the point of sale, spoken to them and they reckon its down to Sony to repair, to be honest I dont want it repaired what I want is a phone wich will actually work as it should. Any suggestions ??

Could you boot on >>> safe mode and check if it works?

Do you have stamina mode on or any other battery app?
