My M5 cemera is not working. When my cemera want to open it says ur cemera is working in another app but there is not working in any app..

Hi @Cemera,

Can you test your phone in safe mode and see if you are able to use the Camera app then?

I face this "Camera not available" pop up from time to time. Reboot solves it.

Noticed it is common if I start the camera app from WhatsApp directly. If I take picture from Camera app, and then share it to WhatsApp, no problem.

I also have this problem if being used by another application. I tried using the camera in safe mode but its still there. I have owned this phone for about a month and i dont really want to change

Hi @aliasu571, sorry to hear that.

If you experience the same thing in safe mode I suggest that you try clearing data for the Camera app. This can be done in Settings > Apps > [menu] > Show system > Camera > Storage > Clear data. This will not affect any of your camera pictures but it will reset the app's settings.

yeah itried that and fortunately it works, i cleared the data and force stop it. then i restarted my phone and have to wait for a few minutes.even if i have to do it everytime i have this problem i think it should have a proper solution

@aliasu571 If you have to keep doing that often I would suggest that you try a software repair using Xperia Companion as the next step.
