    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there. so i was charging my phone over night and when i woke up i noticed it was on the ground. i took it up and i noticed the volume buttons are hard/sticky/slow when i try to press them. and im wondering, will hot water fix this problem or ? thanks for answer&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Sorry to hear that. I strongly recommend&amp;nbsp;that you DO NOT expose your phone to hot water, the water ingress rating was tested in ambient temperature so if you damage your phone with hot water it could be out of warranty. Also hot water might soften the glue holding the back panel making your phone even more prone to water damage.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;What I suggest is to contact your&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/Local+support/pd-p/contact_us" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="13-1"&gt;Local support&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;and get your phone examined by a professional.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
