Xperia M wont switch on after update

Yesterday night I left my phone to update the latest verson of android available (I dont know which one) and when I woke up and tried to switch it on, it keeps showing the android robot on its back with a panel open and a red triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle. The computer doesn't respond when I connect the phone with it and I tried holding the power and volume up button but nothing happens. It keeps showing the same image.

I'm sorry to hear that, but it sounds like the update has failed. I suggest that you perform a software repair using PC Companion on your phone which will reinstall the latest software.

Unfortunately, this will erase the data on your phone and if you are unable to power it on, you will not be able to backup your data.
