I've had my Z3 Compact for almost a year and in general been very happy with it. Recently however the audio quality during calls has been terrible. Volume is OK but the voice of the person on the other end is almost unintelligible. Like the frequency is being clipped.

The phone is barely usable as a phone!

I've tried all the usual things - full reset., turning off noise surpression, turning off clear audio+, but still the same problem. My wife has the same phone, same network, same problem.

I recently updated to Marshmallow, and last Friday got the firmware updare .575. Still no better.

Any ideas?

Hi @Markymark934,

I am sorry to hear that.

Just as @Viridis mentioned it would be a good idea to contact the operator directly to hear about their coverage for your area recently. Do you have a strong signal if you look at the status bar?

An easy way to troubleshoot would be to ask a friend, colleague or family member if they can borrow you their SIM ( from a different operator) to test with.
