Turns off randomly

Hello, my Sony phone I got as a christmas present does not work properly. The phone randomly shuts down even though it has full to 90% battery, and it does not start after the shut down if the charger is not plugged in. This is apperantly a common problem but I have not found any solution for this problem. Please help!

Send the phone to service centre right away for repair.
