Z5 compact (white) Screen issue is back

Hello! So I got that screen problem back when updated to marshmallow 6.0, this was fixed a while back but now its back again and is pretty annoying. Anyone else have the same issues? Screen wont work properly and is doing those "own" clicks and stuff by itself while trying to navigate somewhere like I accidently liked every single picture on instagram... :E

To try rule out hardware or software, can you please boot to safemode to see if the issue continues.

Hello, yes...finally someone else with this problem also, though sorry for here that you have it also.

It very annoying, im going to do software repair soon after phone is charged.

ps. i dont think its a hardware failure since it was fixed with software patch while a go.

Yeah the problem is just like yours, random clicks, lagged scrolls etc.. Its just like it was year ago before they patched it up. Locking the screen and unlocking it helps for a little while but its back in no time and is very annoying and this all came back with the marshmallow 6.0. But well atleast they should now know what causes the problem since they patched it once already so mayby we´ll get a patch sooner than year ago and yeah I doubt its a hardware problem but well we see soon.

Is there any way how to recreate the issue, or does it occure randomly like it used to? I used to have this problem on my white Z5C but it hasn't showed up after I installed Marshmallow. It was exactly as shown on the video on the previous post.

It usually occurs when i use news reading app for a few minute. Also show come when you just use your phone for a minute (etc internet browsing)

Yeah it occurs randomly but usually when im writing text message or checking news from the chrome.

I have now repaired phone software with pc companion and so far problem has not came back, but i will have to use phone some to be sure.

So far im still good. I have tried few times to re-create issue. I did repair with pc companion and restores phone after that.

I got the screen issue as well when i bought the phone couple of months ago, it was fixed and now its back for me as well.

Yes the problem is back. Exactly the same issue as when the Z5 Compact (white) was released. I did a factory reset of my device after updating to Marshmallow. I did not try the repair, but I am not optimistic.

Has the repair w pc companion worked for anyone?

Your not alone.
Mine is also having the problem again!!!!!

I also had the problem when the phone was released.
New phone, and almost 1 month with problems.
Had to send it to service. Nobody wanted to talk about it.

Problem was fixed with software patch.

Seem Sony forgot all about this problem. That not Okay.

Hope they will fixe ASAP, so we dont have to wait 1 month again.
After this........................., maybe my last Sony...Sorry

Mele managed to fix the problem with the repair-function. Please, try it but remember to back your phone up before doing it.

Still no sign of the issue on my white Z5C. Maybe i should fill in a lottery ticket...

I tried the repair without luck.

Fighted with this 6 months ago. Swapped the phone two times before Sony admitted that there was an issue.

Now it seems that it is the same story again.

I never had the issue previously, but experiencing the same after 6.0 update. Any ideas how to fix? I've had no luck with a factory reset...
