So here it is, I went in to EE in October and showed them the issue with my wifi, they wanted to send my phone off for testing but as I hadn't backed anything up I said I would go back in, I had my baby a few days later so I didn't have the time. My toddler smashed my screen just before Xmas and now EE are saying they won't send it away now because I've had my screen fixed elsewhere even though they remember me going in before the screen was smashed. Does anyone have a link for Kitkat as EE plugged my phone into their machine and.are saying I need to downgrade the software to sort the wifi issue.

Ooh, I used the ftf file from xda and my phone got stuck on the start up screen and kept turning itself on/off so I had to flash it back to lollipop. :s

I didn't tick them because it said in the guide it wasn't necessary. Should I try it again with those ticked? Was worried it was a corrupt file. A pop up always comes up with "script found, would you like to use it?" and I tick yes to that, is that right?

Nothing yet. Did tick wipe data and got 4.4 on OK but that did not solve the problem. I've spoken with people on other support forums and they have the same issue with no one offering a resolution. I went back into EE after downgrading, they ran a diagnostics and said the phone is fine. They can't figure out why it's not coming on.

The phone turns on correctly but the WiFi/Bluetooth problem is still there even with the Kk firmware. I saw on a different forum that the the same problem started happening to someone else after the 4.4 update, I was considering finding 4.3 firmware to see what happens.
