M2 Aqua doesn't charge

Hi i own a Sony M2 Aqua it was working fine then all of a sudden it stopps charging. no red light to say its working left charger in it. Its slighlty warm but completely dead. Has anyone else had this problem.

Also is it true that internal burning/fire/melting can occur without any visable external signs like smoke smell etc like near the ports for the charger or usb port

can you plug in your phone to a pc? does sony PCC detect it?

so far i am not aware of any of that kind of incident, save for 1 , this was reported on Xperiablog.net about a guy who's T3 burst into flames.
