So much background noise on Z5P music playback

I just buy the chrome Z5P.

It is a pretty good phone. 4K mon, good design.

However, the music performance is worse than Z3.

The background noise is too obvious.

Very disappointed to Z5P.

Yes, I am using audio technica IM02.

Go to Settings -> Sound & notifications -> Audio Settings -> Disable ClearAudio+ -> Tap on "Sound effects" -> Play around with the options there.

Try @Quester's suggestion and also boot on >>> safe mode and play music through the preloaded "music" app, do you experience the same issue? where are the music files stored?

OK, I have tested the settting at safe mode. Nothing is become better.

What is the meaning of preloaded music app?

The music files are stored at Sandisk 128GB micro sd card.

Some users download third party music players, like google music, etc

could you transfer 1 album to the internal storage > unmount the SD card > settings > apps > all > music > clear data > test again

also, what type of music files do you have?

MP3s or a different format?

if mp3s what is the bit rate?

how are you playing the music, through the loud speakers or headphones? if the later, which type of headphones, wired or bluetooth?
