How to stop getting notifications for updates?

More often unnecessarily am getting notification to update the phone software, if I update it nothing will be there.it's just waste of time and my own money. Kindly look into it and help to stop to get the notification for nonsense updation.

If there is a system update, you cannot remove it. There are apps that can freeze some of the system apps, you can look into debloater and try to freeze software update app.

Hi @Mrmohan,

To elaborate on what alexdon said, there is currently not setting to disable notifications for system updates.

However, if you are getting notifications for system updates even though you already have the latest available software version you can try clearing data for the Software update app, Settings > Apps > All > Software update > Clear data.
